As the crows' last cries are consumed by the silence of midnight The maiden's feet begin to dance: Take her to some place not here
---------------------------------
I've been gone a long time, and when I come back, I come back with a (bad) photomanipulation. Huh. This...probably isn't so good for my art career since I can't decide what exactly I want to do. I seem to want to do EVERYTHING. -.-"
I tried to paint, really, I did. Somehow, everything I tried to paint ended up looking really awkward that I couldn't continue them. I know practise makes perfect, but I can't seem to bring myself to practise when I know that what I produce will end up looking nothing like what I intended.
So I decided to try my hand at photomanipulation. I don't think I did too badly...but then again, I think dark (that is, not bright) photomanipulations are difficult. It's the ones that are bright that are, so this isn't really all that good, I guess.
I find photomanipulation really good for understanding contrasts, hue balance and whatnot. It's really fun when all you have to do is to adjust a little here and there.
I got lazy when I started on the boy, as you can tell...I originally intended the person holding the cage to be Death, but well, the lady was looking down, so I had to pick something smaller.
EDIT 22.05.2011: Fixed the "hook in hand" thing. Well, tried to anyway. I think it was the orientation of the hook that was the issue. EDIT 22.05.2011: ...I think I should seriously consider doing photomanipulations as my main type of art...I mean, wow, thanks for so many faves so quickly.

The boy in the place not here saw the lady dancing "You stole my heart," he said, and handed her some flowers and his heart in a cage with no key
thank you!!!
...don't really have much else to say? XD
Creepy. The little boy likes the...obviously older girl. XD
And yes, the boy likes the girl. Well, he seems to anyway. See? He's giving her his heart. *laughs* Maybe he's a hobbit...?
(have you read COTS yet...
