Hetalia: Learning to Fly_line

Honestly? Yeah, I think this is a crappy colour scheme, but I think I burnt my eyes looking at the white background all day so I just needed some colour not to burn yours. I have never been particularly good with colour schemes anyway... although 'tis not an excuse not to learn...

Anyway, whee, some fan art. It's been a long time since I last drew fan art, hasn't it? Meh, if it hasn't, it sure feels like it has...

So here's genderbent England riding on a broom to save the day by trashing up some ogres with her wand. Yay, Igiko's here to save the day. Oh, wait, that's Alfred's (U.S.) thing, although he hardly ever succeeds. When he does though, it's a fantastic save.

I do wonder if France would be looking up her skirt while she flies...

Finding the negative spaces in this piece is really hard...I've looked at it and found negative spaces more than 5 times already...

I usually don't draw my hands like that, but because I intend to paint this, I drew nails. Ugh, drawing nails kinda ruined the entire finger because I really don't know how to add them in nicely without making them seem flat. Anyway, painting fingers without nails is weird, so yeah.

I'm still working on my parent's Christmas surprise, by the way, and it's looking pretty good. That aside, I will likely be uploading a complete list of element characters (with their faces, of course) some time in late December. If not, look forward to it the following December. I'm expecting school to be tough this year.
