Molten mercury tenderly wrapped in silks of dusk
Laid in a case of brazen gold, boldly declaring, loudly proclaiming
Sealed with priceless silver crafted by something otherworldly
Reflecting beauty, strength and power above all that preciously shine

Gracefully, all that sparkles and all that shines
A burning flame that consumes and devours and drinks
Of the expensive elixir that flows within its passionate core
Toast a cheer to the richly flavoured liquor of existence

A key of forgery and a key of truth fallen on a scale
Twice its weight and thrice its effort and four times malicious
Fitting snug the commissioned doors and passing through
Into darkness where something hides and awaits and shivers and trembles

Then a click.


I believe that quite a number of my so-called 'watchers' are just watching for the sake of watching and some of them don't really seem to enjoy art a lot. I'm finding it rather annoying that random people are 'watching' me just because they have nothing better to do, so yes, please don't just blindly 'watch' someone unless you really appreciate the deviations that they submit. Otherwise, it is actually kind of depressing to know that you're not good enough to be 'watched' properly. I think those who are serious about art all agree that we don't want sugar-coated comments and feedback, and 'watching' is a form of feedback in our eyes. Being 'watched' is flattering, but being 'watched' for no reason in particular is insulting.

I will try to paint an image that has something to do with the poem next time.
